The Song

Eric Prydz samples Steve Winwood’s 1980s hit single "Valerie" and makes use of his "Call On Me, I’m the same boy I used to be" lyrics. When Steve Winwood heard the remix he liked it so much that he re-recorded his vocals for the official print.

The song has the Steve Winwood vocal samples and uses unique loops and filters behind a bold and solid beat that produces an astonishingly catchy song that is almost impossible not to get their groove on to.

The energy that builds in this song produces is simply amazing and keeps the party rocking. The Remixes include the Radio Edit, Filterheadz Remix, JJ Stockholm Club Mix, Red Kult Dub Pass 2 Mix, and Eric Prydz vs. Retarded Funk Mix.

The Babe

Aussie Deanne Berry, 25, said: “All the girls were amazed how sexy the camera crew made it."

“We were expecting something with a bit of fun but the penny dropped when they gave us our costumes."

“I was like, ‘Come on guys, where’s the rest of it?'"

“They got us in some really interesting positions and it does look so sexy but it was a lot of fun.”

Single Deanne Berry also impressed Robbie Williams when they met in the Top Of The Pops studio. She said: “He asked me out, which was amazing. He is gorgeous but I haven’t called him yet — I’ve been a bit busy.”

Inspired by Eric Prydz' Number 1 smash hit "Call On Me", The Ministry of Sound released the "Pump It Up DVD," using actors from the original music video.
